These Lamond DIY cases come as a flat-packed full DIY kit with all the fixtures and fittings needed to make a portable ‘suitcase style’ Eurorack Modular Case. Once built, you will need to add your own power solution and can paint, dye or varnish the case to your own personal specification. Case builders can screw brackets and rails at a personalised depth to either A) make it so it can close patched with shallow modules, or B) give lots of depth for old-school or DIY modules instead. Thonk recommended power solutions can be found here. The build time for these cases is estimated to be around 2-4 hours – depending on your skill level and tools. See the video above for a full DIY case building walkthrough.
