Polaxis have been deep in the world of speech synthesis for over 10 years, now they are finally ready to unveil the next generation of their very first speech synthesizer – introducing Talko 2!

Talko 2 is presented in two formats – here we have the desktop version, and there is also an 18HP Eurorack module. Both are functionally identical speech synthesisers which speak numbers, alphabets, phonemes, and classic phrase banks, with real-time pitch, speed, and effect manipulation using the onboard controls or via CV inputs.

Trigger sounds using the “Speak” button or via the CV gate input. Apply real-time effects such as filter, ring mod, reverb or growl, glitch out the playback using the “Error” button – designed to mimic a circuit-bent Speak & Spell!
