Description
The EDU Output Mixer 2 has been designed as the perfect output mixer for the Upcoming Erica EDU DIY Drums System. This is the final piece of the puzzle – the module that brings all four drum voices together and lets us shape the overall sound.
There are four mixer channels with individual level control and fx send, allowing to send different amounts of each signal to a separate FX module such as the EDU BBD. One effect that often sounds best when it affects all drum voices equally is distortion. Since the DIY Drums System doesn’t have a dedicated distortion module, we’ll simply build one right into the mixer – as an insert effect, meaning it processes the entire mix at once. There is also a dedicated insert fx in/out for using an external module for full mix processing.
Features:
- 4 input channels with per-channel volume controls
- Send/return loop with per-channel send controls and return control
- Variable distortion insert effect
- External FX insert
- Line and Headphone outputs
What’s included:
- All electronic components needed to build the module or prototype it on your own breadboard
- Eurorack panel + PCB for final assembly
- Power cable
- 40+ page illustrated PDF manual as digital download
