Description
All SMD components are already pre-soldered except for 1 x large-sized chip
Born from the demands of live performance, this is the heart of Look Mum No Computer’s synth setup – an analog performance VCO based on the classic AS3340 Curtis Chip sound.
The module was originally designed in the Kosmo format, but has been adapted to a 12 HP Eurorack module, featuring an inbuilt tuner, stable square, ramp and triangle waveforms with 1v/oct CV control and an onboard rotary octave switch.
This performance VCO was created to be able to quickly get in tune when playing live and removes the need to have a tuner to hand when jamming with other instruments.
The VCO has a five octave rotary switch and a fine tune knob that covers exactly an octave with a centre point of C, making it easy to find the note you need.
There is also a rear LINK connection, which will allow in future for multiple modules to be connected via a common control and mixing module.
Note that the outputs are unipolar audio signals with levels that vary from +4v to +10V.
